Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken breast thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter optional
  • 1 large yellow onion thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper optional
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 –6 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls or sub rolls

Instructions
 

  • Prep ingredients: Slice chicken, onions, and peppers.
  • Sauté veggies: Cook onions and peppers in oil until softened.
  • Cook chicken: Add seasoned chicken and cook until browned.
  • Melt cheese: Add cheese over the chicken and veggies, then cover.
  • Toast rolls & assemble: Load up toasted hoagie rolls and serve warm.
